Privacy Notice

What we collect

When you submit a roof assessment request, we collect the information you enter:

• Your name, and the email address and/or phone number you provide
• Postal code or neighbourhood, property type, service needed and project timing
• Any description you choose to write

We also record limited technical context with each request: the page you submitted from, the referring page, any campaign (UTM) parameters in the link you followed, and a one-way hashed fingerprint derived from your IP address and browser type. The hash is used only to limit spam and repeated submissions; we do not store your raw IP address with your request.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to your request — for example, to contact you, discuss your roof and prepare an assessment or proposal. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Where it is stored and who helps us

Requests are stored in a secured database. We rely on service providers to operate the site:

• Website hosting and database services, through Lovable and its cloud infrastructure providers
• Email delivery services used to forward request details to the people who respond to them
• Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used on this site

These providers process information on our behalf and may store it outside Canada.

Analytics and cookies

This site does not currently use advertising or analytics tracking. Campaign parameters from a link you followed may be kept in your browser's session storage until you close the tab, so they can be attached to a request you submit.

Retention

We keep request records for as long as needed to respond and to maintain reasonable business records, and then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete the information you submitted. To do so, submit a request by emailing info@flatroofottawa.ca or through the contact form with "Privacy request" in the description and the contact details you originally used.
